The Skills Training and Rehabilitation Society (STARS) has collaborated with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to distribute wheat seed packages to 8000 farmers in the Sayed Abad, Chak, Jaghatu, Maidan Share, and Jalreez districts of Wardak province. These packages consist of 50 kg of improved wheat seed, 50 kg of Urea, and 50 kg of DAP, all of which have been provided with the financial support of FAO. In addition to the distribution of these packages, technical training sessions have also been conducted for the beneficiaries. These training sessions have covered various aspects of wheat cultivation, including irrigation techniques, disease management, integrated pest management, and wheat seed storage.
